What happens at Maths Magic
Maths Magic is not an extra maths lesson or a high-pressure tuition session. It is a relaxed, supportive club where children build confidence with maths through:
The aim is to strengthen mathematical thinking while reducing anxiety and helping children experience success with maths — making maths feel manageable, one small win at a time.
Meet Louise
Maths Magic is led by Louise, an experienced KS2 specialist with over 20 years of experience working with primary-aged children.
Louise also has specialist knowledge and experience in SEND, making her particularly well suited to supporting children who may lack confidence, need concepts explained in different ways, or benefit from a calmer and more individualised approach.
Her approach fits closely with Ribble Valley Education's ethos: children should feel safe, understood and supported before they are expected to perform.

Maths Magic Booking & Payment Terms
Please read these terms before booking. By registering and paying, you agree to the following.
- 1Membership is £56 per month.
- 2Membership works out at £16 per scheduled Maths Magic session.
- 3PAYG sessions cost £18 each and are subject to availability.
- 4Membership reserves the child's regular place in the group.
- 5Maths Magic runs during advertised term-time dates only.
- 6Sessions missed by the child because of illness, holidays or personal commitments are normally non-refundable because their place has been reserved.
- 7If Ribble Valley Education cancels a scheduled session, an appropriate credit or refund will be provided.
- 8Maths Magic requires a minimum of four children to operate.
- 9If the programme cannot run because the minimum group size has not been reached, parents will not lose money and any applicable payment will be refunded.
- 10Membership is for the named child and cannot be transferred without prior agreement.
- 11Parents should contact Ribble Valley Education if they wish to cancel their membership.
